I have been with TAG 3 months shy of 8 years now and have been using your facility since I've been onboard. First let me say Thank you to all for the work you have been providing the flight crew and I, it has truly been and shall continue to be a great working relationship.
While other facilities try to entice us with low ball quotes; quicker turn-around times, free concert tickets, free this and that. The end result is problems during the departure and afterwards causing more downtime and more money. You guys accomplish more on one shift than two shifts in most other facilities.
Shame to say the manpower south of your border does not provide the same quality workmanship that Penta provides. There was an old saying from my Navy days in aircraft maintenance " We read the book and do it right the first time" I still find that true with the way Penta maintenance is performed today.
OK…the reason for this letter. This last flight with Owner and wife and wedding party was I feel the most important flight in 8 years. Multiple cities across the US and the Caribbean. Departed Nov 6 and returned Nov 23, 2007. Not one engine problem, not one avionics burp, no airframe problems, all systems were ready and functional. Not one snag mentioned during post flight de-brief.
This is a testament of the kind of workmanship Penta provides on a daily basis. I thank you for much of my success and to make my job look easy. You guys are truly "Head and shoulders above the rest".
